ComeAway Inc. (“ComeAway,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our website, the ComeAway Sleep app, and our products.

We currently serve customers in the United States and Canada.


1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

  • Contact & Account Information

    Name, email address, phone number, shipping/billing address, and account login details.

  • Order & Payment Information

    Order history, transaction ID, and billing details.

    Note: Payment card data is handled securely by third-party processors (Shopify, Stripe, Payoneer). We never store your full payment details.

  • Device & Technical Information

    IP address, device type, operating system, app version, and crash reports.

  • App Usage Analytics

    Session duration, feature interactions, and anonymized engagement data, collected through Google Analytics and Firebase.

  • Support & Communication

    Information you provide when contacting support, filling out forms, or sending feedback.

  • Cookies & Tracking

    Our website uses cookies for basic functionality (shopping cart, login), analytics, and to improve user experience. We do not use cookies for targeted advertising at this time.


2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Process and ship your orders.
  • Provide and improve the ComeAway Sleep app and mask.
  • Communicate order updates, confirmations, and customer support.
  • Personalize and improve our app and website through analytics.
  • Comply with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements.

3. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary:

  • Account Information → Until account deletion or 2 years of inactivity.
  • Order Information → 7 years (for legal/tax purposes in US and Canada).
  • App Usage Data → Retained for up to 2 years for analytics.
  • Support Communications → Up to 24 months to help resolve issues.

After these periods, information is securely deleted or anonymized.


4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share data with trusted third parties:

  • Service Providers → Shopify, Stripe, Payoneer (payments & transactions), Hatch Fulfillment (shipping).
  • App Analytics → Firebase and Google Analytics for usage and crash reporting.
  • Legal/Regulatory Authorities → If required by law, to protect rights, or respond to lawful requests.

Each partner has its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to review.


5. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location (Canada under PIPEDA, California under CCPA), you may have the following rights:

  • Access → Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction → Update or correct your personal information.
  • Deletion → Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Portability → Request a copy of your data in a portable format (where technically feasible).
  • Marketing Opt-Out → Unsubscribe from promotional emails with one click.
  • Right to Know (CCPA) → Request disclosure of categories of personal data collected, sources, purposes, and third parties with whom it is shared.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination (CCPA) → We will not deny services, charge different prices, or provide different quality of goods/services if you exercise your privacy rights.

Response Time: We respond to verified requests within 30 days.


6. Children’s Privacy

Our app and products are not directed to children under 13 in the US or under 16 in Canada. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.


7. Data Security

We use encryption, secure servers, and access controls to protect your data. While no system is 100% secure, we are committed to safeguarding your information.

In case of a data breach, we will notify affected users in accordance with applicable laws.


8. International Transfers

Although our operations are focused on the United States and Canada, your data may be transferred and processed in these countries where our servers and service providers operate: US and Canada

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted here with a new “Effective Date,” and we may notify you by email if the changes are significant.
